Support continues to grow worldwide for the Belfast Gary Moore statue project, with several rock stars each showing their support by making promotional videos to help the statue project.  The first video to be released in the series was made by Doug Aldrich, of The Dead Daisies who gives us all a very important message.   We are excited to release the second video in the series, from Thin Lizzy legend Scott Gorham.

Alex McGreevy, journalist and blogger from Sonof71.com who arranged for the series of videos to be made, says “the series of videos will be released over the coming weeks to help raise awareness of the project worldwide”.

Patricia Moore, youngest sister of Gary and Co-Director of the Gary Moore Belfast statue project says:

“We are very excited about our next two Gig for Gary fundraising shows in Belfast May 8th and Dublin May 9th.  Combined with the money raised in April 2019, these next two shows will guarantee the funds for our sculpture artist Sean McCarthy to commence construction stage 1 right away!.  We are so grateful to Doug Aldrich, Scott Gorham other big names of rock for their helping is to raise awareness of th project and help us sell tickets for the shows.  Together we will raise this statue, we just have a good feeling about this, with all the support we have so far, we know that now is the right time.”
